After several years supporting the Community Centre, week in – week out, through snow, sun, rain and tempest, we are were very pleased that Liz Brown and Len Boxall were publically recognised for their voluntary work at the Centre and presented with a certificate by the Mayor of Havant Paul Buckley. Len can always be relied on to help, not only at the Centre but also at Leigh Park Farm Trail and Stansted House. He is the first to declare that he is no spring chicken but he doesn’t let that stop him. We wish there were more like him. Liz Brown is another example of the I wont let it get me down brigade. It would be so easy to just sit at home in front of the goggle box but that is not what our Liz is about. A bright welcome is always at the door when Liz is on duty.
